The world of Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) is trending on Google again, and for the best possible reason. Netflix has officially dropped the teaser for the highly anticipated second season of its spin-off, Berlin.
After a long wait, the charismatic jewel thief Andrés de Fonollosa (played by Pedro Alonso) is back with a new plan, a new city, and a completely new target.

The trend spiked today because Netflix released the Official Teaser and confirmed the release date for Season 2. The show also has a brand new title: “Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine” (Berlín y la dama del armiño).

The New Heist: What is the Plot?
While Season 1 took place in the romantic streets of Paris, Season 2 shifts the action to Seville, Spain.
According to the new teaser, the gang isn’t just stealing for money—this time, it’s personal.
- The Cover: The gang pretends to steal Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, “The Lady with an Ermine”.
- The Real Target: The painting is just a distraction. The real goal is to blackmail the Duke and Duchess of Málaga.
- The Twist: The teaser hints that this job will awaken Berlin’s “darkest side” and is driven by revenge rather than just greed.
Cast: Who is Returning?
Pedro Alonso returns as the titular character, Berlin. His original gang from Season 1 is also back to support the heist:
