All-Star ‘Street Fighter’ Cast Revealed: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns Join Andrew Koji in 2026 Film

The highly anticipated 2026 live-action film adaptation of Capcom’s Street Fighter unveiled its jaw-dropping, eclectic ensemble cast at The Game Awards on December 11, 2025. Set for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026, the movie promises a massive roster of fan-favorite characters brought to life by a mix of A-list actors, comedians, and professional wrestling superstars.

Iconic Fighters, Unexpected Stars

The debut teaser trailer confirmed a star-studded lineup, notably featuring two of the biggest names in professional wrestling: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa’i).

  • Cody Rhodes will be stepping into the role of the U.S. Air Force Major, Guile, known for his iconic flattop haircut and signature Flash Kick. Rhodes, an active WWE Superstar, appeared with the full cast to debut the first footage.
  • Fellow WWE Superstar Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa’i) was confirmed as the villainous warrior Akuma, a character defined by the Raging Demon ability.

The core trio leading the film’s story are martial artists Ryu, Ken Masters, and Chun-Li.

  • Andrew Koji, best known for his role in Warrior, takes on the part of the franchise’s hero, Ryu.
  • Noah Centineo will play Ryu’s rival, Ken Masters.
  • Callina Liang is cast as the mysterious Interpol agent, Chun-Li.

Massive Ensemble of World Warriors

The Legendary Pictures and Capcom production, directed by Kitao Sakurai, is set in 1993 and reportedly follows the estranged Ryu and Ken as they are recruited by Chun-Li for the deadly World Warrior Tournament.
