This page outlines the information required when notifying us of an alleged copyright infringement. It is our policy to expeditiously remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing upon receiving a compliant notice.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content on the ViralFeast.com website infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C 512(c)(3) for further detail):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. Please provide specific URLs to the allegedly infringing content.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Please be aware that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you materially misrepresent that material is infringing your copyright.

2. Counter-Notification (If You Believe Your Content Was Wrongfully Removed)
If you believe that the content you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notification pursuant to sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA.
To be effective, your counter-notification must be a written communication provided to our Copyright Agent that includes substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which ViralFeast.com may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. The complainant then has 10 business days to notify us that they have filed a court action relating to the material. If we do not receive such notification, we may, at our discretion, replace or restore access to the removed material.
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, ViralFeast.com has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
